A case of peripheral neuroblastoma of a 33-year-old male, which was located on the left buttock, is presented. Histologically, this tumor demonstrated small round ceil infiltrations which were arranged in a characteristic rosette pattern and the
tumor
cells were positively stained with neuron specific enolase. We review the clinical, histopathological, ultrastructural and immunohistochemical characteristics of this rare tumor, as well as the differential diagnosis with other small round cell
tumors.
